Yeah, its been a long, long time since I've made Sentinel icons, but since I'm not allowed to repeat a show two rounds in a row, I decided what better time to get back into it!

Almost (over? I've lost track of time) two years ago, I made my first icons. I had always enjoyed other people's, but I saw myself as non-artistic and never bothered to try. And then along came sgcascadeicons . Why I chose to make icons for this contest, and not others, I still don't know. But I did. And nearly 700 icons later, I have never looked back. This past week was the last contest for the beloved community, and although my icon making has been rather intermittent the last few months, I made it a point to enter this one. sgcascadeicons , you will be missed.
I've started to experiment with new styles recently, so I hope you all enjoy these. They're a little, eh, unusual.

I somehow ended up with Stargate Atlantis icons... completely by accident, I swear! I had intended to do Jack and Daniel pictures, and next thing I know they end up being John and Rodney.

Does anyone find it bizarre that my less favorite set of icons won sg1cascadeicons this week? Not that I don't like them, its just that I liked the other set better! For those that don't know, the goal this week was to choose your favorite episode and make a set of icons that best represented it! Enjoy!

sg1cascadeicons! As a nice surprise after a really long, crappy day at work (back to school time at Staples <cringe>) that lasted for almost twelve hours, I had two winners this week! A merging of souls won first for The Sentinel, and the third Stargate icon won third! As usual, enjoy!
