Hub 3 - Sunday

Next up, organising and posting the pictures from John Barrowman's book signing, the La Cage stage door, and the Girl Number 9 launch at Forbidden Planet. Then, I think, I might be caught up!

Sunday started bright and early at what I eventually found out was 6am. The clocks changed the night before, and I had set my phone alarm for 7am, which would have been fine, had my phone time changed correctly. But of course it didn't. So I finished up reading another of my new Torchwood novels, before eventually heading to breakfast and on to the rest of the photo ops and autographs.

The afternoon were the panels, which once again, I have no notes for, and my memory sucks (especially since its now two weeks later!) What I do remember from Kai's panel, was him tripping every time he stepped back up onto the stage. Because he was a surprise guest, there hadn't been many questions submitted for him, so he kept heading into the audience with his mic, when people raised their hands. And every time he went back on stage, he tripped. Also, the lighting for the stage was really odd, so the pictures may look a bit bizarrely colored.

Next up were Gareth and Daniela. Again, no memory, but when asked about his favorite line in the show, Gareth started to say the "Landlines, mobile phones, cans with strings..." line, and then remembered someone had blue toothed it to his phone earlier, so he just went ahead and played it back!

I remember almost nothing about the panel with Paul Copely, Ben Loyd-Holmes, and Liz May Brice, aside from Liz tilting her chair back and forth a lot. I was half waiting for it to just collapse. Also, Paul is funny and adorable!

The last panel was Paul, Kai, Gareth, Liz and Ben. I don't think a single question got answered all the way through, and half the time, the guests were answering questions that either hadn't been asked, or had been asked a few questions previously. At the end of the panel, Kai and Gareth protested that had the questions been asked quicker, they could have gotten more answered. They were given one more question, decided it wasn't good enough, and asked the audience. The last question finally ended up being "If you were in trouble, what would the newspaper headline be?" I don't remember the answers, but it was incredibly amusing.

My one purchase (one!) in the dealer's room was a gorgeous Blue Gillespie hoodie, that I've pretty much been wearing constantly since then. I will eventually get a t-shirt also, but it'll have to wait for a bit still.

Anyways, onto the pictures now.

This is why the lighting was so odd

You know, I don't think I've got a picture of me in the hoodie! I'll try to take one next weekend and post it then.

Thanks for sharing this. Lovely photos.

Kai was amusing with his tripping. I do think some of it was intentional but that man obviously does have some trouble looking where he steps *g*

I bought a BG hoodie as well. And have been wearing it almost constantly since. Very happy with that purchase.
