MediaWest - Thursday

Figured I'd do a pre-convention post, while waiting for registration to open. We left Pennsylvania about 4:30 yesterday morning, and got to Lansing about 5:30pm. Not a bad drive, it went pretty quickly with good company.

Managed to get the welcome to Ohio sign as we left Pennsylvania, and yes, I was driving, and was still the person who managed to snag the shot.



After we got to the hotel, we put our door together. Not everything quite fit on it, but I really like the way it came out. The pictures we left off weren't absolutely necessary anyway. I'd have liked to have them there, but its okay.



It has the potential to be incredibly offensive and controversial, which could be a very good thing. Or at the least, an interesting one.

After putting up the door, we met up with a friend of mine, awent to the restaurant for dinner, and then did some limited hall crawling. I'm hoping there will be more of a crowd today, as more local people arrive.

And now I'm just hanging out in the lobby, awaiting registration. Then on to panels, dealer's room, and general fantastic fandom times!
